I was going to add the suggestion of finding a friend or family member (our "cousin challenge was done over the Internet....we all live in different states) and come up with a fitness challenge. Having to update weekly is a great motivator to get out of bed, especially as the temperatures begin to drop!! I take my puppy (8 month old golden with energy coming out his ears) for a several mile walk each day, I so enjoy watching him learn about the world and find that this is our 'special' time together. I work out in my basement for an hour 3 mornings a week, sometimes I walk with a friend (which is more like therapy for both of us, we vent the whole way). I use a stationary bike, as I have bad knees. It's an effort to get on the bike and start moving, but I like the feeling I have when I'm done. Like many other things, it's a habit-I lost a couple of days, and that makes it harder for me to get going again! Hopefully this weekend will be a new start!
