Letting the Background Do the Work
This pattern, which I made with a new to me company called AHA Arts Stamps (purchased at Paper Source), reminds me of Marimekko, which was so popular before many of you were born! I LOVE Marimekko!
Those bold colorful patterns make me happy. The background is so bold and bright that I only needed white cardstock, ink, and a sentiment.
Speaking of the sentiment, it is from Altenew's Quilled Elegance, which I won, along with a ridiculous amount of other stamps and items. Jennifer Rzasa held a quick contest on Facebook and I guessed the right answer first. Score!

I was able to get even coverage even with dye ink by stamping with a new product called MISTI. It is like a plastic book/stamp positioner that allows you to stamp in the exact spot over and over. At the moment, they are out of stock and the price just went up to $50, which is a lot of money. But this thing is worth it as you'll save $$ on paper. Shari Carroll did a video on how to use it here.

Swiping the Stripes
Made by embossing a sentiment in gold and then drawing Gelatos over the card and swiping the stripes with a baby wipe. Easy, fast, interesting.
This was an experiment. Why not?
MOOD WHEN DONE = It's Friday!!!!! Say no more
And welcome back to so many long time readers who found me again. That's nice!

Gift Set
Here's a pretty set of 8 monogrammed flat note cards and coordinating envelopes.
I love how these came out -- the scalloped base and the large lower case embossed monogram look great together.
And here's a few pictures and "talk" to describe the process I used.
1. Opened up a Blossom Paper Source envelope so that I would have thinner paper for the monograms.
2. Stamped the "n" monogram in Versamark, embossed with Paper Source white embossing powder and die cut. Found this wood mounted stamp at Paper Source (yes, I am a 5 minute walk away....).
3. Stamped typing paper with Impression Obsession Diagonal Stripes in Versamagic Pixie Dust (perfect match with the Blossom line).
4. Put it all together using these Blossom A2scalloped flat note cards from Paper Source and matching envelopes. Those pre cut scalloped flat cards come in a lot of beautiful colors.
5. Thinking about how to package these....
MOOD WHEN DONE = Stylish

Funky One Layer
Love the new Funky Feathers set from Waltzingmouse. Now that WMS ships from the US, shipping is lightening fast.
This is a very quick one layer lovely.
Stamped the feather in Hero Arts Cantaloupe and the heart in Hero Arts Tomato. A little bling just to make it more interesting.
As Claire would say, hope it tickles...
