Just Saying

Goodbye.

Our son is moving this week.  He graduated from college this year and managed to get a real job, with benefits and all that.  We are proud of him.  Very.

But I am one unhappy mama at the thought of him being half way across the country (Texas!).  I'm determined to fake it when I say goodbye.   I made this card to send to him.

2013 will be a year to remember, that's for sure...

On another note, I'm loving Neat and Tangled Stamps. Some great designs, fast service and they threw in some free sequins.  Just a (paying) customer spreading the love....

MOOD WHEN DONE = Missing him already

Supplies:

Stamps:  Neat and Tangled Just Hello and Stampin Up Tape It.
Ink:  Hero Arts Neon Green and Ranger Archival Black
Paper:  Neenah Solar White
Other:  Twine, Ranger's Glossy Accents (to adhere the twine), paper trimmer

  1. Sending BIG {{{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}, Joan. This is going to be a tough adjustment, but, that's okay.

  4. Hugs to you, I know exactly how you feel our son graduated from college (5 hrs from home) and immediately got a job in SC, we live in MI. It has been 2 years and we still miss him, but when we are together it is so good! Wish him well and be proud of the man he has become.

  5. I too know how this feels, our son moved to LA, we live in PA, miss him every day! You have had many life changes in a short period of time, be kind to yourself, indulge yourself with things and activities that make you happy. How wonderful for him to have landed a job, he must be so excited! It gets easier over time (or so I have heard).
