Goodbye.
Our son is moving this week. He graduated from college this year and managed to get a real job, with benefits and all that. We are proud of him. Very.
But I am one unhappy mama at the thought of him being half way across the country (Texas!). I'm determined to fake it when I say goodbye. I made this card to send to him.
2013 will be a year to remember, that's for sure...
On another note, I'm loving Neat and Tangled Stamps. Some great designs, fast service and they threw in some free sequins. Just a (paying) customer spreading the love....

ReplyDeleteOHHHHH!! Hang in there Joan!! ((((HUGS))))). Just think, you raised a responsible and able young man who can move away because he knows he always has you and DH at HOME.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulously CAS and cool card. Thanks so much for dropping by my blog and leaving me some sweet words ... meant I could come here and have a wander round your lovely cards! Anita :)
ReplyDeleteHugs to you, I know exactly how you feel our son graduated from college (5 hrs from home) and immediately got a job in SC, we live in MI. It has been 2 years and we still miss him, but when we are together it is so good! Wish him well and be proud of the man he has become.
ReplyDeleteI too know how this feels, our son moved to LA, we live in PA, miss him every day! You have had many life changes in a short period of time, be kind to yourself, indulge yourself with things and activities that make you happy. How wonderful for him to have landed a job, he must be so excited! It gets easier over time (or so I have heard).

Such great news that your son has a good job so soon out of college! So sad it's half a country away from you. Big, big hugs to you. And he's going to love getting that fabulous CAS card at his new digs. I love that twine bow!
