Heart of Gold

I Make I Talk Gold Heart on Fuchsia Card

Someone I know has a heart of gold (not a thin balsa one from a package from Michael's, embossed with gold) but a genuine heart of love.  And since I need an anniversary card for this heart of gold guy, I thought why not.  I'll pen a sweetie sentiment.

Here's a close up of the gold embossing powder.  I embossed 3 hearts (and still have a ton in the bag) so stay tuned for more hearts.

And this was a perfect way to use the gold vellum heart paper I've been hoarding.

Supplies:

Stamps:  Hmm....not a one.
Paper:  Scalloped flat card and envelope from Paper Source.  Vellum from Stampin Up
Other:  Wood heart from Michael's, Versamark, Ranger Gold Embossing Powder, Clear and Simple Stamps envelope die (that was sooo worth the money) and glue (dabbed a tiny bit under the gold hearts on the envelope liner).

MOOD WHEN DONE =  Golden

  3. Cute! And I know of a heart-of-gold guy who loves vibrant colors, so this should be well received. I like the paper you used in the envelope. A nice touch!

  4. I really like the idea of just penning a note for a special guy. Filing that idea away (If I went with the pink, my special guy would like I had been abducted by aliens. I'm not known for being a "pink" type of gal!! hahaha!!)
